Our wide variety of products are already highly accepted in several European nation and USA. The AGOA trade act is also opening multiple opportunities for exporting finished garments to the US market and we are taking this opportunity and exporting to the US market for the past four years and annually increasing our export quantity.
Solely owned by Mr. Elias Tesfaye, a person dedicated to quality and customer satisfaction. His qualities are reflected in the day to day activity of the company. A father and brother figure to his team, his dedication and virtues are reflected on the teams execution and performance. Established in 1995/96 G.C. as small garment house with 12 employees, then we were producing different garments for local consumption.
In 2004/05 G.C. Eltex was reinvented as a knitted fabric supplier and garment factory mainly focused on supplying the local market with the factory in the Kality industrial Zone with starting capital of ETB 3,000,000.00 and 150-200 employees. ELTEX now after two decades, has a second garment sewing and finishing factory in Debrezeit as well – with a registered capital of ETB 70,000,000.00 and over 1,300 employees.
